Acts of the Chapter 2014

In Greenock, Liverpool, Worksop, Harlow, Lewisham and Herne Bay the sisters continue to minister in the Parishes and to the local community in number of ways - Faith formation, Parish support, Ministers of the Eucharist, Street Pastors, Homeless Centres/Food Banks, support for refugees and migrants, visiting the sick, the elderly and the housebound. 

 

In Colwyn Bay we offer a place of rest, beauty and spiritual renewal. The House of Prayer  has a varried programme retreats and days of reflection throughout the year and is also available for individuals or groups who would like to come and use the facilities.  

 

Marian House in Uxbridge is a Care Home that caters for our own sisters and also open to others too.

 

Also in Uxbridge at Pield Heath we have a community of sisters and we continue to care for children and young people with special educational needs at Pield Heath School.

 

Harmony House in Dagenham, which is owned and under the trusteeship of the congregation, is a Community Interest Company and works in partnership with the Local Authority, Community and Voluntary organisations in delivering a range of community based services and projects.          

Chigwell Convent is home to our Leadership Team, our central finance and administration teams and the Justice and Peace Desk.  At Chigwell we have a community of sisters, many who are involved in pastoral ministries.  

Adjacent to Chigwell Convent is St John’s Special School and Post 18/19 Provision supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
