Zambia concluded a year of celebration marking 125 years since the Church was established in the country. The two-day closing event took place at the Lusaka Show Grounds main arena on 14th to 15th July 2017
Following the freak storm at Bauleni, Lusaka, there was extensive damage. It has been a very challenging period, but with the help of so many we have pulled through and for this we are eternally grateful.
On the 29th of November 2016, in Chigwell Convent, we celebrated the life of Mother Winefride Tyrrell one hundred years after her death. She was the Co-founder of the Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary and the first Superior General from 1903 to 1908.
