Justice Peace and the Integrity of Creation lay at the very heart of our congregational vision and charism and is a sign of hope for us and the Church.

Over 100 years of presence alongside some of our world’s poorest people has made us only too aware of the daily struggles of our sisters and brothers. Our commitment to justice challenges us to seek the transformation of social and political situations which are the cause of human misery, whilst also seeking to meet practical needs in a compassionate way. 

The Chigwell Justice and Peace Centre was established in 1995, to assist, in concrete ways, the translation of vision to reality. It promotes reflection, education and action for justice, peace and sustainable development among sisters, associates, auxiliaries, co-workers and other organisations, religious or other, who share our values and goals.

We are challenged to witness prophetically in whatever country we live and work.  Our Justice and Peace Centre is a sign of our commitment to justice and a statement of our priorities. We include education in JPIC at all stages of formation and this is reflected in our ministries.
