Our aim is to engage in general nursing whilst appreciating the need to specialise in certain areas to promote better health for the poorest of God’s people, particularly women and children.

HIV/AIDS

At the present time, we face the most acute challenges in countries where the combined problems posed by extremely high levels of poverty and HIV produce unique difficulties. We aim to be at the cutting edge of an integrated approach to health which addresses simultaneously: the prevention of HIV/AIDS through appropriate education and counselling, care for those sick with HIV/AIDS which includes Home Based Care programmes; and care for the survivors.  We are particularly sensitive to health problems experienced by children were are often overlooked in the overall human catastrophe posed by HIV/AIDS in developing countries.
