Our Associate Programme was initiated in response to the invitation to open our communities to lay people for a length of time (The Consecrated Life 56.) Women and even some men have been welcomed to share our community and ministry both in the UK and overseas. Associates add vitality to our communities and offer challenges and new directions in ministry. Many commit themselves to at least one year, others for longer. Few remain untouched by the encounter. The Associate shares in the life and work of the community where s/he is supported and valued.
